Foundation Stones is the e-newsletter of the Foundation for People with Learning Disabilities. It is a great way to get all the latest news about the work of the Foundation. You can find out about new projects, forthcoming events and opportunities to help us fundraise and continue our work.

 

Foundation Stones was launched in 2001. From time to time we have changed the style, format and content in an attempt to keep it fresh and relevant. What hasn’t changed is the fundamental purpose of Foundation Stones: to keep you informed about our work.

 

For a while now we have been planning to produce an electronic version of Foundation Stones, rather than the original print copies.

 

It has a number of advantages over the printed version, it allows us to:

 

  • include much more information

  • to provide direct links from articles

  • to provide links to audio and video resources.

 

Unfortunately some people who do not have access to the internet will miss out, but many more people will now be able to read the magazine online.
