Fragile-X Syndrome

1 in 3,000 males and 1 in 6,000 females have Fragile-X syndrome, an inherited condition. 
Girls are usually less severely affected than boys.

Children with Fragile-X syndrome can be helped to make the most of things they are good at such as verbal skills.

 

Collaboration between parents and schools can help children with things like concentration.
