The Foundation for People with Learning Disabilities is coordinating the National Advisory Group on Learning Disabilities and Ethnicity.
The group will focus on policy development, work closely with other organisations and bring together people who are leading work in this area. It is chaired by Richard West and Zenobia Nadirshaw.

The work of the group includes:
- advising on government policy on issues relating to learning disabilities and ethnicity
- sharing information and learning from emerging national and regional good practice
- checking for implementation of the recommendations made in government papers or by the group
